Who We Are
Pawsitive Difference, LLC is one of the most trusted professional trainers in the Coeur D'Alene area.
For 40+ years, we have provided outstanding, old fashioned customer service creating lasting relationships long after the training process is complete. We strive to offer the highest quality Dog Training available while involving the entire family and having fun in the process. We know that as trainers, we often need to think outside the box and find what motivates each dog as an individual and in doing so, we set them and you up for success.
We offer a large variety of services and programs from Service Dog Training, Board and Train to Individual Sessions and custom package options, all of which are eligible for in-house payment arrangements. We work with all breeds of dogs and we feel that having a strong knowledge of each breed, their temperaments, drive and what they were originally bred to do helps significantly with the training process as each dog responds differently to training.
We are certified through the American Kennel Club as a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator as well as S.T.A.R Puppy, Community and Urban Canine and Trick Dog.
We love everything about the work we do. The best feeling in the world for us is watching the bond between people and their dogs strengthen right before our eyes.
Darcey
Owner - Behaviorist - Lead Trainer
As Owner, Behaviorist, and Primary Trainer, Darcey ahs a deep passion and detailed history with animals. Aside form the 40+ years experience in Dog Training, she was a dog and horse 4-H leader who helped guide several children through their love of animals. She spend many years on the AKC show circuit participating in breed confirmation, primarily with Irish Wolfhounds, as well as competing in Obedience.
Darcey is certified through the American Kennel Club as a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator as well as S.T.A.R Puppy, Community and Urban Canine and Trick Dog. Along with those certifications Darcey is registered through Alliance of Therapy Dogs and is able to test for new team registration. She trains Therapy and Service dogs as well as an abundance of dogs in need of basics and behavioral rehabilitation.
